Dr. Lindsay McNair to Speak at CenterWatch and iiBIG 2nd Annual Forum on Optimizing Clinical Research Performance

PRINCETON, N.J., Sept. 16, 2014 – WIRB-Copernicus Group (WCG), the world’s largest provider of regulatory and ethical review services for clinical research, announced today that Lindsay McNair, MD, MPH, MSB, its chief clinical research officer and president, consulting services, will be speaking at the CenterWatch and iiBIG 2nd Annual Forum on Optimizing Clinical Research Performance being held Sept. 15-16 in Boston, MA.

At this year’s forum, Dr. McNair will join industry professional Bonnie A. Brescia, founding principal of BBK Worldwide, for a discussion on “Engaging Patients Via Data Sharing.” The presentation will take place on Sept. 16 at 10:45am EDT during Break-out Track A: Innovations and Global Strategies Across the Clinical Research Enterprise in Room A201.

“Maintaining participant engagement through effective communications is a vital piece of the clinical research process,” said Dr. McNair. “It is our goal to focus on patient engagement from before the study even begins, all the way through to completion when study results are returned to participants. Establishing effective patient communications in each phase of a study is critical.”

Dr. McNair has more than 15 years’ experience providing medical guidance on clinical development strategies and study designs for new drugs. She has delivered medical oversight for all phases of clinical studies in a variety of therapeutic areas, including multiple oncology indications, hepatitis C, psoriasis and multiple sclerosis.
