Biography

As Chief Marketing Officer for WCG, Amy Hutnik leads the evolving narrative of WCG capabilities to best meet the needs of the innovative CROs, Sponsors, Sites and Patients in today’s complex clinical trials ecosystem.

Prior to joining WCG Amy spent 12 years with Syneos Health – most recently as Chief Growth Officer of its Communications Division, where she was charged with accelerating the development of new communications services and maximizing integration across agency teams to harness the power of Syneos Health.

Previously, Amy was the Global Head of Syneos Health’s Commercial Integration team, leading creation of custom, outsourced commercial infrastructure for partnerships with biotech and pharmaceutical clients, by designing integrated sales, marketing and multichannel communications solutions that fused Syneos Health commercial solutions to client in-house capabilities.

Amy also spent 6 years with Syneos Health digital healthcare agency, Blue Diesel, leading the Client Services function, and managing the agency’s innovative portfolio of work in leading edge digital and multi-faceted, integrated marketing channels.

Amy’s 20+ years in marketing, operations and strategy span consumer and healthcare markets, and enable her to leverage deep industry knowledge to engage teams and clients, and streamline the process of managing communications and commercialization resources for maximum impact.

In 2018, Amy was honored as one of the “PharmaVOICE 100” – recognizing the industry’s most inspiring life science leaders.

In 2015, Amy was recognized as an Healthcare Business Women (HBA) Luminary for serving as a role model in and actively mentoring and sponsoring others in the healthcare industry.

Prior to joining Syneos Health (previously inVentiv Health), Amy held positions in client services, strategy and operations at a range of consumer and B2B agencies, including Miller Branding & Communication, Hill Holliday, and Publicis.
