Biography

Mr. Olart joined WCG in 2016 as Chief Technology Officer for ePharmaSolutions (ePS), a leading provider of eClinical solutions that improve the way that clinical trial sites are selected, trained, activated, and managed.

Shortly thereafter, Mr. Olart was appointed WCG Chief Technology Officer and is now responsible for software applications across the entire WCG family of companies.

Mr. Olart has more than 15 years’ experience leading global software engineering and IT teams and has specific expertise in the medical imaging and pharmaceutical research fields.

Prior to joining ePS, Mr. Olart worked for BioClinica in a series of increasingly senior positions leading to vice president, systems architecture.

Before that, Mr. Olart was one of three co-founders of Theralys, an imaging contract research organization that specialized in central nervous system diseases. They sold Theralys to BioClinica in 2007.

Mr. Olart received his bacalauréat from the Lycée du val de saône and his MS and engineering degree in computer sciences from the Institut des Sciences appliquées de Lyon. He is fluent in English, French and German.
