More Consistency, Less Variability
WCG has deep experience supporting immunology studies and understands the challenges associated with ensuring consistency when conducting global clinical trials. Through WCG’s training platform, InvestigatorSpace®, rater training tools are supported to help reduce the variability of assessing treatment efficacy. We’ve formed close relationships with scale authors and leading immunology experts on how training compliance should be standardized across the industry.
Atopic Dermatitis
WCG has partnered with the Eczema Foundation and OPENED-ISAD Task Force to create a new SCORAD training as well as the first-ever online certification exercise for the SCORAD assessment scale. In collaboration with Pr. Jean-Francois Stalder, a leader on the European Task Force on atopic dermatitis that designed and validated the scale, as well as the Foundation, WCG has standardized SCORAD training and certification to provide consistency and efficiency for Trialists working in AD disease assessment.
WCG’s training platform InvestigatorSpace is now the only distribution system for the Validated Investigator Global Assessment for Atopic Dermatitis (vIGA-AD™) which was developed by Eli Lilly, the International Eczema Council (IEC) and other experts, for use in clinical trials.
In addition, WCG hosts and validates the Atopic Dermatitis rater training for EASI/BSA with assessment and TLSS, and can centralize this rater training and the documentation in our InvestigatorSpace platform. Eli Lilly has generously granted access to make the vIGA-AD™ scale and investigator training modules available to other companies and academic groups. WCG can provide access to scale, video training modules, and certification exams.
Psoriasis
WCG has provided certified, online GRAPPA (Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis) training to thousands of raters since 2013. WCG maintains on-demand training modules that are kept ready and current so your investigators can access training, anytime, anywhere across the world. To date, over 12,000 GRAPPA scale certifications have been provided by InvestigatorSpace.
