WIRB‐Copernicus Group Leaders Speak at Global Clinical Research Summit in South Korea
Announce Collaborative Agreement with Daegu Catholic University Medical Center
Princeton, NJ (October 1, 2013) ‐ The WIRB‐Copernicus Group (“WCG”), the world’s largest provider of regulatory and ethical review services for clinical research, announced today that three of its executive leaders will be featured guest speakers at the 2013 Global Clinical Research Summit being held October 1st and 2nd in Daegu, South Korea. The meeting topic is “Innovative, Integrative and Personalized Care Approach” to clinical research.
Stuart Horowitz, MBA, PhD, President of Global Professional Services, will speak about “Meeting the Challenges of Globalized Research on Innovative and Integrative Products.” Jeffrey A. Cooper, MD, MMM, Vice President of Global Consulting, will discuss “Empowerment and Sharing Knowledge for Global Clinical Research.” David G. Forster, JD, MA, Chief Compliance Officer, will talk about the “Global Regulatory View for Qualified Approach.”
Additionally, WCG is pleased to announce a relationship with Daegu Catholic University Medical Center, together with the Comprehensive Integrative Medicine Institute (both in Daegu, Korea), to promote and facilitate international cooperation in the protection of human research participants. Today at the Global Clinical Research Summit these organizations signed an agreement to collaborate on joint initiatives including human research protection training and education, joint ethical reviews, exchange of personnel and fellows, and joint Institutional Review Board (IRB) review.
