WIRB-Copernicus Group Thought Leaders to Present Four Sessions at Annual AAHRPP Conference

Princeton, N.J., May 9, 2017: WIRB-Copernicus Group® (WCGTM), the world’s leading provider of solutions that measurably improve the quality and efficiency of clinical research, announced today that three of its leaders will present at the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP) Conference taking place in Detroit, MI, May 9-11, 2017.

WCG Chief Compliance Officer David G. Forster, JD, MA, CIP, will present “Digital and Emerging Technologies in Clinical Trials: Ethical and Regulatory (FDA) Guidance” on Wednesday, May 10 at 10:30 am CST. His co-presenter will be Elizabeth Buchanan, PhD, from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

“Clinical research participants play an invaluable role in the development of innovative new therapies. It is imperative that their contribution is duly recognized and that appropriate safeguards are implemented to protect them,” said Mr. Forster.

On Thursday, May 11 at 10:45 am CST, WCG Vice President, Process and Strategic Improvement, Jeffrey A. Cooper, MD, MMM, will speak on “Maintaining a Robust HRPP between Accreditation Cycles.” Later, Dr. Cooper will present on the “New Common Rule” during the Flexibility Coalition Lunch Meeting at 12:00 pm CST.

WCG Vice President of Quality Management David Borasky, MPH, CIP, will partner with Jonathan M. Green, MD, of Washington University at St. Louis to deliver “Can We Measure IRB Quality?: Identifying the Right Metrics to Increase Consistency and Improve Results” on Thursday, May 11 at 1:00 pm CST.
