ISO 27001:2022

The certification applies to WCG products and businesses supported by WCG’s Technology Solutions shared services.

This certification encompasses WCG’s Technology Solutions shared services, which bolster WCG clinical services. WCG is committed to information security and data protection, consistently adhering to the stringent ISO 27001:2022 standard. This globally recognized standard fosters information security best practices and affirms WCG’s dedication to a comprehensive and effective Information Security Management System (ISMS). Our ISMS ensures the safeguarding of confidentiality, integrity, and availability for all our information assets, as well as those of our clients, partners, and stakeholders.

The certification applies to WCG’s Clinical Research, Scientific Review, IRB and IBC services.

WCG’s ISO 9001 certification recognizes our dedication to quality service, ensuring our clients benefit from the highest standards of quality management. AAHRPP Accreditation

The certification applies to WCG’s IRB services.

In 2003, our flagship IRB was the first central IRB to receive accreditation by the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP®), an organization that endeavors to improve safeguards for clinical research participants. As per AAHRPP requirements, WCG IRB undergoes the organization’s rigorous reaccreditation process every five years. Most recently, we were awarded reaccreditation status by AAHRPP in 2025.

HIPAA

The certification applies to WCG MyPatient & eResearch applications supporting WCG Site Solutions.

WCG’s HIPAA certification ensures that clinical trial participants protected health information (PHI) is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and security. As a HIPAA-certified entity, we adhere to stringent standards to safeguard sensitive data and protect against unauthorized access and breaches. This certification reflects our commitment to maintaining trust and integrity in all our client interactions, offering peace of mind that PHI is managed responsibly and in compliance with regulatory requirements. FDA Compliance

Our organization is routinely inspected by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) – and found to be in good standing and compliant with federal regulations. This underscores WCG IRB’s commitment to championing scientifically and ethically sound research, safeguarding clinical trial participants, and demonstrating continuous improvement.

Debarment Certification

WCG verifies the debarment status of its employees to help maintain compliance with FDA regulations, which are crucial to the success of clinical trials. Our due diligence fosters a trusting relationship with clinical research sponsors and CROs, which is essential for collaboration in regulatory environments.

EcoVadis Sustainability Rating

EcoVadis – Bronze Medal (January 2026)

Continuous and effective management of sustainability practices is critical to our business and society. WCG leverages EcoVadis, a global leader in business sustainability assessments, to rate our performance, identify risks, and to understand where we can improve and make a bigger impact across the world.

WCG Clinical, Inc. earned an EcoVadis Bronze Medal based on EcoVadis’ sustainability assessment methodology. The Bronze Medal is awarded to organizations performing within the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis during the preceding 12 month period.

The assessment reflects the quality and maturity of WCG’s sustainability management system across four areas evaluated by EcoVadis: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, and is based on a review of documented policies, implemented practices, and supporting disclosures provided at the time of assessment.

CDP Climate Rating

CDP Climate Change Score – B (December 2025)

WCG received a CDP Climate Change score of B, indicating that the organization is taking coordinated action on climate change and has established governance, risk management, and target‑setting practices, as assessed through CDP’s climate scoring methodology.

CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) – A‑List (February 2026)
WCG achieved an A rating in CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment and was included on the CDP SEA A‑List, recognizing leadership‑level performance in supplier engagement and value‑chain (Scope 3) climate governance, based on disclosed data.

CDP (formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project) is an international non-profit organization that operates a global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states, and regions to manage their environmental impacts. CDP focuses on driving companies and governments to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, safeguard water resources, and protect forests. CDP is widely recognized for its annual A-List, which highlights companies leading in environmental performance and transparency.

CDP’s climate change scores serve as catalysts for change, inspiring companies globally to aim higher, work diligently towards sustainability, reduce environmental footprints, and contribute to the global environmental agenda effectively. Our score reflects how well we are equipped to thrive in a low-carbon economy, balancing economic growth with environmental stewardship.

Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)

Validation Achieved (October 2025)

WCG Clinical, Inc.’s near‑term and long‑term greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets have been validated by SBTi Services as conforming with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Criteria and Recommendations, including Near‑Term Criteria (V5.2) and Net‑Zero Criteria (V1.2).

The validated targets include a commitment to achieve net‑zero GHG emissions across the value chain by 2050, to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 50.4% by 2032 from a 2023 base year, and to reduce absolute Scope 3 emissions by 30.0% over the same timeframe, covering purchased goods and services, capital goods, fuel‑ and energy‑related activities, waste generated in operations, business travel, and employee commuting.

WCG also commits that 25.53% of suppliers, by emissions from purchased goods and services, will have science‑based targets by 2030.
