Anthony Doyle

Anthony Doyle serves as chief financial officer at WCG, where he leads the company’s global finance organization and helps shape the strategy, discipline, and investments that support WCG’s continued growth as a leader in clinical research.

Anthony brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience across healthcare, clinical research, and both public and private equity-backed organizations. He has built and scaled finance functions in complex, high-growth environments, partnering closely with executive teams to drive performance, enable strategic decision-making, and create long-term enterprise value.

Most recently, Anthony was chief financial officer at Flourish Research, where he led financial strategy and operations for a clinical trial services platform focused on expanding access to research and improving execution across sites. Prior to that, he served as chief financial officer at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, where he played a key role in transforming the company into a global rare disease organization, supporting significant revenue growth, capital formation, and operational scale.

Earlier in his career, Anthony was chief financial officer at Worldwide Clinical Trials, where he helped accelerate growth and strengthen operational performance, and held finance leadership roles at World Book, a Berkshire Hathaway company. He began his career at General Electric, where he completed the Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff, building a foundation in operational finance, capital strategy, and disciplined execution.

Anthony is known for his hands-on leadership style and his ability to connect financial strategy with business outcomes. He is passionate about using data and insight to enable smarter decisions, strengthen performance, and support the teams advancing clinical research.

He was named one of the Top 25 Biotech CFOs of 2024 and holds a B.A. in European Business and French from Dublin City University, along with a graduate certification in Corporate Treasury.
