Biography
Kelly FitzGerald, PhD, CIP, IRB executive chair and vice president IBC affairs, WCG, is responsible for the compliant and efficient operation of both the IRB and IBC. Kelly is a certified IRB professional (CIP) and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington. Her graduate training was in genetic engineering, which led to an interest in medical diagnostic device technology. Prior to joining WCG in 2014, she worked in general research administration and invention licensing at the University of Washington for over 10 years.
