Special Considerations for Device Research: Development of Laboratory-Developed Tests (LDTs)

Sponsor or investigator proposing to develop Laboratory-Developed Tests (LDTs) which are not regulated by FDA utilizing de-identified biospecimen samples should submit the proposed study for review to determine whether the study meets regulatory criteria for IRB Exemption.
