Special Considerations for Site Investigator’s (PI) Employment Status

The employment relationship of the PI with the institution/site will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, if the PI is not a full-time employee of the institution. The PI may hold an independent contractor role and may still provide oversight of the study. The Board will evaluate this in the context of the proposed study.
